In a stunning recent announcement, Dustin W Design was named a Webby Award Official Honoree for the Into The Wild website, for Best Use of Photography. Hailed as the "Oscars of the Internet" by the New York Times, The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. Intothewild.com attracted over one million unique visitors and was a wildly successful site for the client. On a more emotional level, IntotheWild.com was a success because the "experience" area of the site tapped into the essence of the movie in an interactive and web-worthy way. It captures the exhilaration of the main character's journey in the film, the characters he interacted with and the majestic scenery he encountered in his travels.

DWD has been working with the LGBT-focused media company Regent Entertainment in redesigning a series of their online news magazine websites. Green Porno is a series of short films by Isabella Rosellini for the Sundance Channel as part of their The Green initiative. Inspired by the amazing and bizarre sexual practices of insects and other creatures, the films are comical and insightful, wacky and whimsical.
Icarus Light from Artechnica, Inc., a Los Angeles-based interior accessories design firm who practices Design with Conscience, as we do at DWD. This gorgeous pendant is constructed from multiple layers of feather-light polyester to resemble a bird's wing. It is showcased to great effect in DWD's Los Angeles office. Come by and see it!
