Outfest 2009 festival brand package

For the 2009 Outfest festival, Dustin W Design was given the opportunity to create a full brand package. We developed key art, print and online ads, outdoor animations and billboards, the festival teaser and full trailers, plus the festival website.


In coming up with an inspiration for the key art, Dustin recalled his first Outfest moment of enlightenment. This took place at a screening under the stars at the John Anson Ford Amphitheater. “Feeling for the first time that I was surrounded by a group of people that understood me, and being in that beautiful environment, created an amazing feeling of togetherness that I will never forget,” Dustin explains. As a filmmaker and long-time attendee of Outfest, Dustin managed to recapture that feeling of experiencing a film together as a community in the key art, where the forest creatures come together to put on a show.
